Ever wonder how its like goin to korea for a holiday? Think ure a kpop(korean pop) or kdrama(korean drama) maniac? or maybe u enjoy shopping like there is no night and day?
Hehe then this place is totally for u!
Hehe then this place is totally for u!
I went to korea in June 2010 with mum n 2 sisters. It was spring and err almost to summer. Hot and humid during the day but cold at night. like Malaysia except dat Malaysia is hotter. Korea have very nice scenery, like the one u see in any kdrama ofcourse :) ( my favourite is boys over flower and stairways to heaven). We stay there for 5 days only, not enough time! especially for shopping. If u plan to go there, makesure it is atleast one week or more. The time difference is 1 hour ahead of Kuala Lumpur and travelling time is approximately 6 1/2 hours.
Currency > 10000 won = Rm 30.00
So day 1,
We arrive Incheon airport Seoul, and then we went for a Seagull Cruise, next to Palace (I forgot the name of the palace) and in the evening we went for shopping at the famous Dong-dae-moon market.
Above, Incheon Airport.
Seagull Cruise- hundreds of birds waiting for us to feed them, it was amazing!
Palace, this place is freaking big. Im tired of walking.
Below-Dong-dae-moon market. This place is like a small town actually. But the place that we went below is under one building, its where all the young designer in korea gather together selling their masterpiece. so talking abt designer, the stuff here is quite expensive compared to Malaysia. We wanted to go to the real market(outside this building) where things are much more cheaper, but not enuf time( down side for going in groups, urgh)
All kinds of hair accesories u cud ever wish for :)
skincare and makeups, sorry i dont have the pictures on the clothing side. But yes of course everything was awesome(esp the shoes side-killer heels-killer design-unknown designer-1 for Rm1000?-CRAZY!)
Day 2 - Nami Island. Next we went to shopping street (sorry i forgot the name :( ) got many shoplots, and then a cable car ride to the top of the mountain called Sorak.
we ride a boat first to go there.
Nami Island - I love this place so much. So beautiful. kdrama Winter Sonata did their shots here :) (maybe one day i'll come here for honeymoon hehe).

Up and up and up
Mount Sorak :) Nice view indeed
Dinner!Kimchi is a must!
Day 3 - First stop was the Herbal Park. Nature lovers u are most welcome here. They have thousands of plants and flowers and they make their very own herbal candy too - err eucalyptus candy? Next was my favourite stop Yeo-Juand branded outlet. ok price was of course expensive coz its a branded stuff but outlets are always cheaper, Malaysia doesnt have outlets town!.then again not enuf time to browse the whole place coz next were going to the Everland Themepark! we didnt take any rides bcoz it was raining. so we just walk around. This theme park is so big . nothing like Genting okay. anyway enjoy the pictures :)

Day 4 - Visit to Gyeong-Bok Palace( kdrama Jewel in the Palace did their shots here), we also learned how to make Kimchi at the Kimchi School and we went to the Amethyst Factory. At the end of the day, we watched the famous Korean Nan-Ta show. It's a funny musical show banging on pots and pans. No pictures were allowed to be taken. ngeee too bad. hermm during the show, i fell asleep actually, i was so freaking tired. those loud music were now like a lullaby. But the show was great, its not like i slept the whole time :)
Day 5 - Time to go home. Depart from Incheon Airport on MH67. Flew back to Malaysia. Good bye korea! m gonna miss you. one sweet day i'll come again for sure! :)))
Basically, Korea is a very beautiful place, Its like a shopping heaven. just bring lots of money!!!! there are still other places that we havent go to like the teddy bear museum, but hey its only 5 days.and whats with all the rush and all those not enuf time moments was becoz.. well korean , they sleep early and wake up early like 4, 5am, so by 7pm we must head back to hotel. For 5 days i woke up at 4.30am!!!. It still a sleeping time for Malaysians! anyhow Malaysia Boleh! :) ~m still missing Nami Island~
